Kandi Burruss Looks 'like One of the Kids' in Pigtails & Bikini during Mexico Trip

Kandi Burruss is on a family vacation and exuded a youthful glow as a result. Fans commended her for looking like a teenager as she fashioned pigtails while wearing a pig bikini in their first family selfie shared from their trip.

While she stars in a reality show and runs a sex toy business complemented by a web series called “Kandi Koated Nights,” Kandi Burruss makes time for her family. In fact, she’s currently on vacation with them and a photo reveals they’re enjoying every bit of it.

AIRPORT READY

A few @kandi posts ago on her Instagram, the reality star hinted in a big way that she and the rest of her family were headed off somewhere. The pic taken from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport included her husband, Todd Tucker, their son, Ace, 3, Kandi's daughter, Riley, 16, and Todd’s 22-year-old daughter, Kaela.

“We decided to be corny today & dress alike.”

The B-Team, except for Ace, wore matching black shirts that read, “This is my airport shirt.” It was a cute way to start an adventure though Kandi had a different opinion.

“We decided to be corny today & dress alike,” she captioned the pic. She also reveals her mom was with them but begged off from the photo because she wasn’t wearing the same shirt.

FUN IN THE SUN

It took a while since then for Kandi to update fans about her family vacation but she finally did yesterday upon the urging of a friend.

“My girl @carmoncambricecalled & asked why haven’t any of us posted from our vacay,” she wrote to caption a family selfie. Judging from the giant rocks and the hint of water behind them, it’s safe to assume they were on an island. The family was also dressed in swimwear.

“Because we’re on vacay,” Kandi explains her late post. “But ok, this one is for you friend. We’re alive & well & having fun!” she offers.

TEENAGE MOM

The pic she shared indeed showed it was a trip they bonded over. Kaela and Ace held up peace signs as the rest beamed in the tight shot. Kandi wore a pink bikini that flaunted her assets but it was her hair that caught the attention of fans. She wore them in braided pigtails.

The look shed ages off the 43-year-old mom with one fan suggesting she resembled a teenager. She was also wearing thick-rimmed eyeglasses that further complemented her youthful aura.

“You look like a sister not the mama,” one commenter wrote while another added, “Dang I thought Kandi was a teenager, cute pic.”

This was a totally different vacation from last year’s when the family jetted off to Dubai for some desert fun.

MORE FUN WITH THE FAMILY

The vacation proved to be a fun summer getaway as Kandi revealed clips on her Instagram stories later. One of them showed Ace getting his first Henna tattoo while another showcased their speedboat ride.

This was a totally different vacation from last year’s when the family jetted off to Dubai for some desert fun. Photos from that trip had fans gushing over their camel rides and falcon encounters. They were also garbed in turbans in some of the pics.

Kandi definitely knows how to keep her family close. Trips like these are the perfect way to relax and bond. No wonder she’s blessed in other aspects of her life. She makes it a priority to strengthen the foundations in her own home, first and foremost. After all, a happy existence begins with a happy family life.
