Kandi Burruss' Fans Slam Critics Saying She Treats Stepdaughter Differently

Fans question Kandi's treatment of her stepdaughter, Kaela in her latest photo celebrating the 23-year-old's birthday. "Why isn't her hair done?" a critic asked.

Kandi Burruss can’t seem to get a break from critics who refuse to see how a great mom she is to her stepdaughter, Kaela Tucker.

Last week, the reality star took to her Instagram to greet Kaela on her 23rd birthday and shared an image from that day in New York. But trolls still had negative thoughts to share. They slammed the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star for favoring her own children over her husband, Todd Tucker’s daughter.

The photo Kandi shared to commemorate Kaela’s special occasion featured the mother-of-two dressed to the nines along with the birthday girl who opted for a simpler, no-make-up look. They were joined by Kandi and Todd’s son, Ace Tucker.

CRITICS SLAM KANDI

While the pic shouldn’t raise any eyebrows seeing Kandi chose to shine the limelight on Kaela with the post, her bashers still saw something to pick on. One commenter wrote,

“Where’s her new car and why isn’t her hair done. You treat her differently than you treat your daughter and Todd allow you to. Be careful how you treat people, don’t care how much money you have SMH.”

Another chimed in with, “She a beautiful young lady. Y’all need to find somebody else to do her hair.”

THE RECURRING STORY AROUND KANDI AND KAELA

This has always been the story around Kandi and Kaela as far back as we can remember. Fans often accuse the celebrity of favoring the young woman less than her own children. They would question why Kaela wasn’t around in some of her pics and outings. They also claim Kandi would parade her own children in the limelight and keep Kaela in the dark or that Kandi would spend more on her kids than on Kaela.

A fan questioned why Riley's photo was professionally done while Kaela’s wasn’t. Today, fans are questioning why Kaela didn’t get a car for her birthday the way Riley did on her 16th.

Luckily, a lot of Kandi’s fans don’t agree with her critics and defend her as they did recently in response to bashers of the star’s birthday post for Kaela.

One fan showed her frustration by writing,

“Do all of you ever get tired of jumping in this woman’s comments every time she posts her daughters … accusing her of treating Kaela different than Riley? What do all of you know about their family dynamic besides “RHOA” and pictures? Relax. She probably already has a car, and she doesn’t need makeup. The comments some of y’ all make about children is so damn disgusting and tasteless.”

TODD TAKES KAELA ON A BIRTHDAY TRIP

Kandi hasn’t responded to all the current bashing but her husband decided to respond in a different way. Todd made sure Kaela got all the attention by whisking her off to Europe for a father-daughter trip to celebrate her birthday. The pair are reportedly spending some quality time in London, Amsterdam, and Paris. What a sweet way to show Kaela how special she truly is. And we have no doubt Kandi approves.
