Kandi Burruss surprises daughter Riley with expensive luxury sports car for her 16th birthday

Kandi Burruss just pulled out all the stops for her daughter, Riley’s sixteenth birthday. The “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star surprised her teenager with a luxury sports car and revealed why she chose to present the car a day before the actual birthday.

The Xscape singer shared a series of Instagram photos and videos to celebrate her giving the car to Riley. In one picture, the entire family- Kandi; her daughter, Riley; husband, Todd Tucker; stepdaughter, Kaela, and her son, Ace- posed in front of the car. A giant red bow was taped to the classy vehicle.

In another video, Riley could be seen getting comfortable in the seat of her new car, as her mother showed off the exquisite interior and customized floor-runners that bore Riley’s pet-name, “Rilez.”

Explaining why she chose to give her daughter the car a day before her birthday, Kandi wrote:

“I had to surprise my baby girl @rileyburruss today with her car. Her #Sweet16 is tomorrow but I figured she would be super surprised & not expecting anything if it was the day before her bday. I put the nickname that @nickiminaj gave her on the floor when you open the car door. #Rilez”

It’s very likely that 42-year-old Kandi will take home the “coolest mom” award, that is if she hasn’t already. A few days ago, she took to Instagram to thank Nicki Minaj for inviting Riley- a huge fan!- to her album listening party. The proud mom was pleased with her daughter's happiness and wrote:

“I gotta say thank you to @nickiminaj for inviting @rileyburruss to her private listening party. Riley is a super fan of Nicki’s, so this meant the world to her. Tune in to #QueenRadio on #Beats1 & listen live.”

Kandi also scored “cool mommy” points when she secured a selfie for her daughter and stepdaughter with none other than Queen Bey herself.

Riley is Kandi’s first child from a previous relationship with ex-boyfriend, Russell “Block” Spencer.
