Eva Marcille Reveals Gender of Baby No. 3 on BET Awards Red Carpet

Eva Marcille was a glowing goddess at the BET Awards on Sunday, but she also brought along a little something extra; she finally opened up about her unborn baby’s gender.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star looked stunning in a pink dress featuring a dramatic thigh-high slit and a diagonal cut-out across the bodice. She paired the outfit with jewelry and a pair of polka-dot high heels while rocking faux locs.

Eva, 34, stopped to speak with “Extra” on the red carpet and had no qualms disclosing that she and her husband, Michael Sterling, are expecting another son:

“Yeah, it's a boy... and I haven't told anyone.”

The “America’s Next Top Model” alum first revealed in May that she was expecting her third child and her second with Michael who she married in October.

Eva and the Atlanta-based lawyer have a 14-month-old son, Michael Jr. while she shares a five-year-old daughter Marley Rae with her rapper ex, Kevin McCall.

Eva told “Extra” that Marley was initially not too excited about welcoming another sibling into the home.

“When she realized that her little brother was also going to be a big brother, she was stressed out,” Eva revealed. “She said, ‘No, I’m the big one.’ I’m like ‘Sweetheart, you’re the biggest!’ We’re gonna keep this train going.”

The fashion model announced that she was expecting her third baby with a cute maternity shoot. The pictures showed her sitting in bed and sipping on a smoothie while her bare bump – wearing a drawn-on face – does the same using her belly button as its mouth.

Eva told PEOPLE at the time:

“Michael and I couldn’t be more excited to announce baby No. 3 is on board! Looks like little Michael Jr. is going from the baby to the middle child, and Marley will be the boss of them all!”

Michael also expressed his joy at welcoming another baby with his wife. “I count it a great blessing to grow our family with the love of my life, Eva Marcille Sterling, and we look forward to welcoming another generation of hope into this world,” he said.

Eva seems to have found her happily-ever-after following a tumultuous relationship with her ex, Kevin. She revealed during a March episode of “RHOA” that the rapper was abusive towards her and stalked her occasionally.

“He’s just so petty sometimes,” Eva said of Kevin. “I’ve walked outside of my balcony before, and he’s been standing in the dark. And it is the scariest feeling ever.”

Hopefully, those days are over now, and the expectant mom can look forward to welcoming her third child into the family.
