Carrie Underwood’s Baby Son Jacob Cries When Dad Starts Singing (Video)

One of Carrie Underwood’s Instagram posts is fast going viral because it has her baby boy, Jacob, crying whenever his daddy sings, hoping to make him quiet.

Underwood took to her Instagram about two days ago to share a short clip of her four-month-old baby crying despite his daddy, Mike Fisher's efforts to calm him by singing.

The video has the trio in a bedroom and with little Jacob bellowing his cries while Fisher bends over him, smiling and trying to calm him by singing.

Hilariously, Jacob didn't heed Fisher’s unspoken pleas until his famous singer mother, who is taking the video, starts to sing. Like magic, the baby immediately stops crying and looks straight in Underwood’s direction.

After a few seconds of singing, Underwood stops singing, and Fisher picks up from where he ended. As if right on cue, Isaiah immediately resumed his loud cries.

To Underwood’s chagrin, his crying stopped when she started singing again and started when she finished. The video ends with Fisher bursting into laughter when the little child continues crying as he tried to resume singing as if telling him to stop trying at all.

Underwood fondly wrote in her caption,

“Everyone’s a critic... @mfisher1212 @vincegillofficial.”

In response to the post, Mike Fisher humorously commented that Isaiah’s repeated crying was because he wanted “your [Underwood’s] food.”

He wrote,

“The real reason is he was hungry and wanted your food. #notmysinging.”

The adorable exchange between Jacob and his parents is one that is currently making headlines because of the inferred meanings of his crying whenever Fisher starts singing. Fans and fellow celebrities have taken a liking to the couple with many circulating the short clip about the internet.

Just two days old, Underwood’s post already has well over 2.5 million views and over 35,000 comments! Netizens are just having fun with the video with many taking to the comments section to air their opinions about the videos.

Jacob is Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s second child and son; their older child, Isaiah is four years old. While speaking to People, Underwood revealed that she babies Jacob much more than she did Isaiah when he was little.

Underwood, 36, said:

“He’s just this perfect little bundle of a smiley guy.”
