Safaree Says Sorry 'from the Depths of My Soul' after Allegedly Cheating on Erica Mena
It came as a shock to many when Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels split despite planning to get married soon. Now, Safaree decided to say sorry "from the depths of his soul" for cheating on Erica Mena with his ex-girlfriend.
Gabrielle Davis, a co-star in "Love & Hip-Hop: Miami," exposed Safaree by posting screenshots of their conversations wherein he claimed to miss her and still love her despite their separation. To top all of this off, he even went so far as to say he wasn't going to marry Mena despite proposing to her.
Calling It Quits
Since the sudden and shocking exposure, Mena called off the engagement and cut him out of her life. She even showed herself knocking down a vase of red roses that were sent to her by Samuels, and then showed herself walking through the broken glass on the floor while smiling.
Meanwhile, Safaree seems extremely heartbroken with what happened, posting a public apology on his Twitter account trying to get Erica back.
Begging for Forgiveness
"This is not a loss I would be able to handle."
While he was caught saying he wasn't going to marry Mena thanks to his messages to Gabrielle Davis, he now shares that she is the "most important person to him in the world."
Since the entire controversy blew up, Safaree deactivated his Instagram account to try and cope with the breakup privately.
Rumors of the Breakup
The breakup was first revealed on Joe Budden's podcast, where he shared that Mena's close friend told them that Safaree was caught texting other women, including his ex-girlfriends Gabrielle Davis and even Nicki Minaj.
This ultimately led to Mena calling off the engagement, and now Samuels has been working towards getting Mena back.
Unfortunately for him, Erica has made it clear that forgiveness wasn't something she is ready to give just yet.
