Michelle Obama shared a heartfelt tribute to late Disney star Cameron Boyce whom she had the privilege of meeting back in the White House. The former First Lady shared that the late actor had "incredible talent, but also an incredible heart."
Michelle Obama has always been one with the people, and she made sure to pay respects to Disney star Cameron Boyce, who shockingly passed away at the age of 20.
Remembering Cameron
The former First Lady shared a photo of both of them smiling during one of his visits to the White House, but this was not their only encounters with each other, as they also worked on sets and service projects together.
"I was lucky enough to hare a few moments with Cameron Boyce -- on set, at the White House, and on a service project -- enough time to recognize that not only did he have incredible talent, but also an incredible heart. Sending out a lot of love and hugs to his family, friends, and his many, many fans."
Cameron passed away in his sleep, after battling epilepsy. He was only 20 years old.
A Changemaker at 20-years-old
At such a young age, he's already achieved a lot. In March, he was awarded the Pioneering Spirit Award at a gale for The Thirst Project, one that delivers clean water to communities around the world. The actor raised more than $30,000 for the organization.
Cameron is now one of those who will continue to inspire his generation and even that of Michelle's, to work towards achieving your dreams without forgetting about helping others in the process as well.
Rest In Peace, Cameron.
