See Beyoncé & Blue Ivy's Matching Crystal-Encrusted Tuxedo Dresses at 'Lion King' Premiere

Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy stole the night at the premiere of "The Lion King," They glimmered in their matching crystal-embellished tuxedo dresses with a sheer skirt. 

A fierce night celebrating the premiere of “The Lion King” deserved the fierce presence of cast member Beyonce and her daughter, Blue Ivy and that’s exactly what they delivered.

TWINNING AND GLIMMERING

The mother and daughter became the highlight of Tuesday’s Hollywood premiere when they sashayed in the red carpet in matching crystal-encrusted outfits. Beyonce’s Alexander McQueen creation in black and silver boasted of a chandelier-embroidered tuxedo dress with a crystal embroidered sheer, black skirt. She accessorized the ensemble with crystal jewelry and an embroidered box clutch.

Her mini-me stood next to her wearing a tuxedo dress like her mother’s with a black crystal-embroidered jacket. Her hair stood out in braids with two buns on top set in place by silver diamond accessories.

Jay-Z was also there to celebrate his wife wearing a black coat and tie to the occasion. Beyonce even shared an image of them on her Instagram.

THE LION QUEEN AND HER PRINCESS

Ahead of the premiere, Beyonce and her 7-year-old also slayed in “Lion King”- inspired outfits at the “Wearable Art Gala” hosted by the singer’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.  Beyonce channeled an African queen complete with a lion’s mane at the center of her sequined jumpsuit. Blue on the other hand, wore a yellow gown with a giant headdress looking every inch a regal princess next to her real-life queen.

BEYONCE'S NEW ICONIC ROLE

Beyonce stars as Nala in the live-action remake of the Disney classic which also features Danny Glover who plays Simba and James Earl Jones as Mufasa. Last month, the teaser for the film triggered fans' excitement over hearing their Queen Bey’s voice singing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” with Glover.

At the premiere, the singer’s Destiny’s Child co-member, Michelle Williams praised her for her iconic role speaking to Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner.

"Just excitement and how now is the time [for] different voices, different experiences and what she is going to bring to it," she said. "And because of her two little girls, of what she's passing on for her family is really awesome."

Fans of Beyonce won’t need to wait too long to find out what Williams meant as “The Lion King” hits theaters on July 19.
