Meghan McCain ‘Does Not Feel Bad’ for Kourtney Kardashian Crying about Turning 40
Meghan McCain, daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain, political commentator, columnist and co-host of the tv show “The View,” had a lot to say about Kourtney Kardashian’s emotional breakdown over getting older.
The controversial author slammed the reality star during Wednesday’s episode of the talk show after showing a teaser for the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” that featured Kourtney Kardashian crying to her sister Khloe Kardashian, saying she wished she had “more time."
In a rare moment, the four hosts agreed on one thing. Kourtney was dramatic.
"The thing is: on the one hand, she wants more time, but then she's miserable. So what do you want more time for?" co-host Joy Behar mused out loud, while the other cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain laughed.
This was after Whoopi Goldberg fakes dramatically falling to the ground in mock horror and rolling her eyes while watching the clip. McCain took sides with Whoopi as she explained that Kourtney has all the money, opportunities and advantages in the entire world, she has no reason to be sad.
added that there are people who can't feed their children. She also stated that she didn't feel bad for Kourtney and asked her to have some self-reflection.
Joy Behar, McCain's consistent sparring partner on the table after declaring herself an expert on the subject because she was the "the oldest one on the panel," tried to bring some rationality to the topic, and said that it was not about material things but inner fulfillment.
Seventy-six years old Behar who was in defense of Kourtney differed, she said Kourtney's feelings were more of inner emotions and that it has nothing to do with her external life.
To which Meghan fired back saying:
“But you know what helps me when I feel sorry for myself? Running with veterans who have lost limbs for our country, seeing people and homeless people that have much less than me. There are ways to make yourself feel better and know how blessed we all are."
The "Dirty Sexy Politics" author, McCain continued:
“And the Kardashians are worth $100 million, if not more. Billions, whatever, I don’t know.”
To which fellow cohost, Hostin agreed with, by chiming in that she made a good point.
