Sophie Wessex's Wimbledon Clutch Bore a Funny Wonder Woman Message
Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, has drawn attention after keen royalists noticed that the clutch purse she held on to at Wimbledon had a funny message written on it.
Sophie of Wessex was one of the many notable figures that attended Wimbledon on Wednesday, July 10, and she did so dressed in an ensemble indeed befitting of royalty.
However, only one of her fashion items caught the attention of avid followers of the royal family.
THE UNIQUE MESSAGE INSCRIBED INTO THE COUNTESS' CLUTCH PURSE
Sophie took fashion to another level by rocking the clutch which reportedly had a unique message written on its flap. People reported that although the fashion accessory was unexpected, considering the fact that Sophie is a vital member of the royal family, it has made many admire her sense of style as well as humor. An American twist, they called it!
Sophie's intricate sense of fashion was quite evident as she attended the high-class event in a blue floral print dress by Peter Pilotto.
She finished off the distinguished look by having her hair styled into a bun, wearing white heels sandals, and carrying a silver and blue clutch bag that featured a message comparing her to an all-American superhero.
“I’m not saying I am wonder woman. I’m just saying that no one has ever seen me and wonder woman in the same place,” the message inscribed into the purse humorously reads.
THERE IS NONE LIKE IT!
A
of the countess' bag has proven futile, but it remains uncertain if she did have it personalized with the message, however, no one's complaining!
With no care for the keen eyes of the public on her, Sophie, who is 54 years old, had a relaxed time watching the game play out as she sat beside Prince Albert II of Monaco in the royal box.

Sophie's 1999 marriage to Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex made her an integral part of the British royal family. The Earl and Countess are now proud parents of two: Lady Louise Windsor and James Viscount Severn who are 15 and 12 years old respectively. Sophie, however, attended the Wimbledon event alone.
Despite that, she still managed to make it a news-worthy appearance, and that is quite laudable. Her appearance at the widely publicized event was alongside other members of the royal family.
The long list of attendees included Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Zara Tindall, Mike Tindall, and Kate Middleton’s parents Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton.
