L&HH Couple Brooke Valentine & Marcus Black Share 1st Pics of Baby Chí Summer

After keeping her pregnancy and child's birth a secret, Brooke Valentine has finally opened up to her fans with the first photo of her two-month-old daughter with Marcus Black. Chi Summer Black's debut on Instagram didn't disappoint.

She was their best-kept secret until recently. Because Chi Summer Black, also known as the first child of Brooke Valentine and Marcus Black is now the best thing that’s happened to their social media feeds.

INTRODUCING CHI SUMMER BLACK

This week brought a pleasant wave of happiness for fans of Brooke and Marcus who finally got to see their lovely daughter. It’s been two months since baby Chi was born and her introduction to the online world didn’t disappoint.

The proud parents must have discussed the timing of their separate posts because it happened in the same day. Marcus shared two photos of their little one taken on separate occasions but one looking as cute as the other.

“Nothin more beautiful than a Chi Summer,” wrote the doting father and we couldn’t agree with him more. Chi’s curly locks and big round eyes are a sight to behold. She’s no doubt the apple of her parents’ eyes.

It was only in May when we finally learned that Brooke had become a mother after keeping her pregnancy a secret. Marcus spilled the beans because it was Mother’s Day.

Meanwhile, Brooke shared an even cuter photo (if that’s even possible) of Chi wrapped in a dark pink blanket with a matching turban on her head. She must have just come from a bath because strands of her hair that peeked through her turban were still wet. Brooke kept her caption simple informing her fans that her daughter is now 2 months old.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HER BIRTH

It was only in May when we finally learned that Brooke had become a mother after keeping her pregnancy a secret. Marcus spilled the beans because it was Mother’s Day and he couldn’t help not paying tribute to the woman who gave him a child.

“I went back and forth all day on whether or not I was gon post this but I mean… it’s Mother’s Day babe. I just can’t let the day end without publicly thanking you for our princess,” he wrote to caption a photo and proceeded to laud his wife for staying “solid” throughout “all the ups and downs, high-risk appointments, hospital stays and life’s uncertainties.”

“You’ve always been ten toes down. I never had to question where you stood in my life. My plan is to multiply your investment in my purpose,” he added.

ON KEEPING THINGS PRIVATE

Brooke thanked her fans for understanding her need to keep her pregnancy and birth private (much like Kylie Jenner did) in an Instagram story responding to Marcus’ post. “When it comes to my kids I’m just a bit old fashion,” she explained. However, she did treat fans to a throwback photo when she was still pregnant just to give them a glimpse of what she looked like.

Brooke and Marcus announced their engagement during the 5thseason of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” and later married in a private ceremony. They each have one child from their previous relationships. Brooke has a son she named London and Marcus is a father to daughter Brooklyn.
