Alec Baldwin's Brother Billy of 'Northern Rescue' Fame Shared Photos Taken with Him

Billy Baldwin, who currently stars on the Netflix show "Northern Rescue," shared photos of himself with his older brother Alec Baldwin on social media.

Born William Edward Baldwin, Billy, 56, proved his closeness to Alec, 61, by sharing their photos on Instagram. The actor is the second-youngest of the four Baldwin brothers.

"We’re attempting to define what it means to be a family today and you need to get into all the stuff that kids get into."

In one of the photographs he shared, the two are seen wearing Black suits. He captioned the post:

"Long live Lance Drake Mandrell... #30Rock."

One fan immediately added her thought via comment: "You guys are the cutest and hands down - the sweetest ~ must be that NY upbringing!!"

Billy is starring as a search-and-rescue commander and widowed dad of three youngsters in the Netflix series "Northern Rescue."

In an interview with TV Insider, he said: "The show really is about what it means to be a family today."

"My family in the show is girl, boy, girl, and [in real life] I have girl, boy, girl. It’s a very similar spread. I have an 19, 17, and 14-year-old, and my kids on the show are 17, 15, and 13."

Billy has been married to singer Chynna Phillips, 51, since 1995. Together they have three children — daughters Jameson and Brooke and son Vance.

The actor said that as a couple, he and his wife "divide and conquer" when it comes to parenting.

"In the show, I lose my wife and it’s like losing your arm," he told TV Insider. "All of a sudden, you’re responsible for all of these duties and you’re wearing all the hats now."

One of Billy's motivation to pitch the show to Netflix and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was parenting three teenage children.

"We’re attempting to define what it means to be a family today and you need to get into all the stuff that kids get into," he said.

"You need to get into possibly violence, definitely sex, definitely drugs, kids getting arrested. It’s going to be a modern day, contemporary look at what parents and children are struggling with."

Baldwin, who was a fashion model before starting his acting career, splits his time between an estate in Santa Barbara, California and another in Bedford Corners, New York.
