"We’re attempting to define what it means to be a family today and you need to get into all the stuff that kids get into."

"Long live Lance Drake Mandrell... #30Rock."

Courtside at the Knicks vs. Rockets at Madison Square Garden with bro Alec and his lovely bride Hilaria. Sat courtside with Chynna and my buddy Chris Bev for over 10 years back in the day when we lived in NYC. Loved those rivalries with Indiana, Miami... and especially Chicago during the Patrick Ewing era!! Thank you @nyknicks and my dear friend Anne Marie Dunleavy for always making us feel so welcome and taking such great care of us!! So amazing to be back in #TheWorldsMostFamousArena for a game!!
Billy has been married to singer Chynna Phillips, 51, since 1995. Together they have three children — daughters Jameson and Brooke and son Vance.
The actor said that as a couple, he and his wife "divide and conquer" when it comes to parenting.
"In the show, I lose my wife and it’s like losing your arm," he told TV Insider. "All of a sudden, you’re responsible for all of these duties and you’re wearing all the hats now."
One of Billy's motivation to pitch the show to Netflix and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was parenting three teenage children.
"We’re attempting to define what it means to be a family today and you need to get into all the stuff that kids get into," he said.
"You need to get into possibly violence, definitely sex, definitely drugs, kids getting arrested. It’s going to be a modern day, contemporary look at what parents and children are struggling with."
Baldwin, who was a fashion model before starting his acting career, splits his time between an estate in Santa Barbara, California and another in Bedford Corners, New York.
