Nicole Kidman's Reaction to Keith Urban Calling Her a 'Maniac in Bed' - 'Embarrassing'
Nicole Kidman reacted to Keith Urban’s reference to her in his song “Gemini,” where he called her a “Maniac in the Bed.”
Nicole Kidman didn’t take her husband’s new song, “Gemini,” too seriously as she let out a few laughs after he called her a “maniac in the bed.” During “The Kylie & Jackie O Show’s” ‘Breakfast with the Stars’ podcast on Sunday, Kidman said:
“I don’t censor his art if I can be a muse for it. It is embarrassing, but at the same time, it’s better than saying, ‘God, I’m so bored. Make an effort Nicole!’”
Urban, 51, admitted that his song was about Kidman, adding that the Oscar-winning actress “loves it.” The country singer’s co-writer, Julia Michaels, simply suggested he “describe” his wife and the result was that.
Podcast host, Kyle Sandilands, also asked Kidman about another lyric from Urban’s 2018 album, “Graffiti U,” which talks about the actress wanting “to make love in the middle of the night,” to which she replied:
“What?! You’re making that up, Kyle. Shut up! I’m not answering that. That’s outrageous!”
Urban is the actresses second husband, marrying him five years after her divorce with Tom Cruise, whom she shares two children with: Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24. She also has two kids with the singer: Sunday, 11, and Faith, 8.
Last June 25, the couple celebrated their 13th anniversary through Instagram posts which they shared on their respective accounts. Urban included a photo of him and his wife on the beach with the caption:
“Thirteen years of magic, music, romance, wild adventures, and the ongoing discovery of pure love. Happy Anniversary Babygirl. xxxx – KU.”
On the other hand, Kidman posted a black and white photo of her and Urban, who was kissing her on the forehead. Her caption was a simple anniversary greeting, but her picture spoke thousands about their love for each other.
