Kelly Ripa’s Fans Compare Her to Pippi Longstocking in Her Childhood Photo from the 70s
Kelly Ripa is quickly becoming the throwback queen on Instagram. Her latest epic throwback photo left fans gobsmacked this week.
"Live! With Kelly and Ryan" host, Kelly Ripa, 48, took to the social media site with another adorable childhood picture of herself. Her followers could not get enough of how cute the star was as a youngster.
In her post, a much younger Kelly happily grinned at the camera while leaning on her arms at the table. The entire picture looked beyond adorable.
Kelly wore a black strappy dress that was complemented by the giant polka dot bow that perched on her head. Her hair was plaited into the perfect pigtails.
Some noticed the star looked a lot like Pippy Longstockings.
Fans loved the look and they flooded the comments sections with adoration for Kelly and her hairstyle of choice. One fan called the hairpiece “goals,” and another recalled wearing “big bows” when they were young too.
Kelly captioned the post to reveal that the picture was from the '70s. She also referenced the song Dance 10 look 3 from A Chorus Line.

Besides fans obsessing over how cute Kelly looked in the pic. Some noticed the star looked a lot like Pippy Longstockings.
Longstockings is a famous fictional character known for her long pigtails and red hair. The nine-year-old girl was the main character of a famous series of children's books written by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.
One fan was also stunned by how long her hair had been when she was younger. The fan wrote:

It is not the first time Ripa has shown fans a glimpse of her childhood. In January, she posted an epic throwback picture of herself.
