Carrie Underwood Thrilled Fans with Her Makeup-Free Pic

Last week, singer Carrie Underwood took to Instagram to wish her friend a happy birthday. She included a selfie that showed her next to her friend without any makeup.

Carrie Underwood, 36, celebrated her friend, baker Ivey Childers’, birthday by posting an image of the two of them on Instagram. She captioned the post: “Happy birthday to this babe, @iveychilders ! You are the best wine drinking, weight lifting, veggie loving, biggest heart having friend and neighbor a girl could ask for! I love you to the moon and back! …”

Her friend is married to Underwood's bass player, Mike Childers. A number of people wished the baker a happy day too but many more noticed something unique about the post.

Underwood’s fans realized the musician had chosen to for-go makeup and couldn’t help but compliment her natural beauty. A fan named Janea Bryan took to the comments section writing: “I wish I could meet you... You’re such an inspiration to me.”

Someone with the handle @christyeskerod added: “Love how you are fresh faced [sic] and no makeup. You are so naturally beautiful!” Another fan stated: “You look so natural and beautiful!”

Kerrie Todd noted: “Love this pic! All in so many ways...you look great and authentic and real! #love #love …” Someone else commented: “Love this picture without makeup. So beautiful!”

Early in the same week, Underwood spoke about how she was working on her health amid while having a busy tour schedule and parenting two young sons. She and her husband Mike Fisher share Isaiah and Jacob.

The singer confessed to Women’s Health that she found other days better than others. On the good days, she’d be able to get “more sleep” and have enough energy to “workout longer.”

She admitted: “I'm always trying to take steps in the right direction," adding "even if they're small steps." Underwood also shared that her husband noted that she was “'a more pleasant person to be about when you have a workout in the morning.’"

The musician gladly agreed with him saying: "And I was like, 'I know! I feel better.'" However, the star isn’t so strict with her routine and listens to her body.

She revealed that depending “on the day,” sometimes she would walk or run to get her cardio workout done.

Underwood has shared a makeup-free selfie before on social media. In April, the singer took to Instagram again to post an image from her workout.
