Jessica Simpson Mom-Shamed after Posting Photos of Her 7-Year-Old Daughter Maxwell with Dyed Hair

Jessica Simpson was at the receiving end of criticism following the photos she shared of her daughter.

The mother of three posted pictures showing her daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson with dyed hair, and some of her followers didn't take it lightly.

Jessica Simpson is an interesting personality. The entertainer is a superstar musician, with many awards and award nominations to her name; an actress, and a fashion icon.

She is also the wife of Eric Johnson and mother to three beautiful children. She is a doting mom who is proud of her kids. Jessica was caught in the eye of a social media storm after receiving backlash from some of her fans for dying her older daughter's hair.

JESSICA'S "HAIR DYE" POST

The beautiful singer posted a picture showing her daughter, Maxwell's new look. The picture showed the seven-year old's hair, which had been dyed from its natural color.

A second picture showed Maxwell at the salon, surrounded by the hairstylists, having her hair washed. The fashion icon had her daughter's hair dyed at the famed Nine One Zero Salon in Hollywood.

Jessica Simpson captioned the post thus:

"Inspired by The Descendants #901girl" #MAXIDREW."

Most comments to the post admired Maxwell Drew's new look and co-owner of the salon, Riawna Capri joked that they would be seeing more of Maxi than her mother. Disney Descendants' official handle also commented on the post, saying Maxi's hair was looking good.

However, some other commenters were angered by Jessica's decision to dye her daughter's hair and made their feelings known.

These set of commenters questioned the pop star's thinking about dying Maxwell's hair as they felt she was too young to be going through such publicity and attention.

Another commenter felt Jessica would ruin her daughter's hair by dying it at such a young age.

JESSICA SIMPSON IS USED TO BEING MOM-SHAMED

Though the style icon hasn't replied to any of the critical comments, she wouldn't be in any way surprised by them. The mother of three has gotten used to being criticized for her parenting.

Recently in April, she was criticized for having her baby daughter, Birdie sleep on her stomach, rather than on her back. The singer had shared the first photos of Birdie, and one of them showed the baby sleeping on her stomach.

There are other numerous occasions in which Jessica has been mom-shamed, but all of the criticism hasn't stopped her from posting about her beautiful children. Meanwhile, the star continued with her post-pregnancy recovery and posted a picture showing her right leg.

The picture showed how the singer's feet had changed after her pregnancy, with the reappearance of her ankles, and her fans were glad for her.

The proud mom does have a full house, raising two growing kids, and a baby. She really wouldn't have the time to respond to the critics.
