Keke Palmer Days Away from Inking Deal as 'Strahan and Sara's Third Co-Host: Report

It's official: Keke Palmer is joining "Strahan and Sara" as its third co-host. Palmer is set to sign her contract in the next couple of days to officially join the team.

Keke Palmer is joining Michael Strahan and Sara Haines on ABC's "Strahan and Sara" as its third co-host, and people couldn't be more excited.

The singer-actress-host is days away from officially signing her contract to join the "Good Morning America" spinoff, and it's all thanks to her great energy which puts on a fresh vibe in the show.

A Supposed Temporary Assignment

Keke first joined the set of "Strahan and Sara" after temporarily taking Sara's place who went on maternity leave in June.

Haines announced that Keke would be stepping in to make sure Michael isn't lonely for an entire month when she's gone.

“We wanted to start talking about what to do for Michael [Strahan, her co-host] ‘cos he’s gonna be lonely when I take my maternity leave,” she shared.

A Sudden Promotion

After the announcement, Keke showed up and hugged the two hosts, proving that they are comfortable working with one another.

Since it seems the executives were impressed with the way Palmer took on the role, they are looking into giving her a more permanent one if she agrees.

Born to Host

As for Keke herself, well, she says she was born ready to host "Strahan and Sara."

“I’m very ready,” Palmer added. “I was ready from the day I was born. I popped out like, ‘Boop, I’m ready.’”

Indeed the star is ready, as she's no stranger to hosting. She made TV history back in 2014 when she was given her very own talk show, "Just Keke," at 20 years old.

Now that she's given a similar opportunity, no doubt will she bring sunshine to people's days.
