Katharine McPhee Kisses Husband David Foster on a Yacht in New Photos

Katharine McPhee is still basking in marital bliss with her husband, David Foster, and she took to Instagram to show off just how happy and in love they are.

NOTHING SPEAKS OF AFFECTION THAN A KISS

McPhee shared photos of herself and Foster on board a yacht and enjoying the summer weather. She planted a kiss on his cheek, while Foster, who covered his eyes with sunglasses, smiled at the gesture.

The actress captioned the snaps, "David's first time," with a statue of liberty emoji.

The post garnered a lot of response; the music mogul's daughter, Sara Foster, asked her father and new step-mum to get a room, and the comment led two people to respond with, "So funny," and "Ahahaha," respectively.

THE AGE GAP IS STILL A FACTOR

Other's weren't as lovely in their comment; a follower of the actress who could either be a troll or ignorant of the relationship between the two, wrote:

"Nice to see you are so loving towards your father."

Another follower decided to be more tactful and offered unsolicited advice. The follower advised the "American Idol" alum to ensure she gets some of Foster's sperm for testing if she plans to have kids, adding that at the producer's age, the risk of having a child with autism is high.

IGNORING THE NAYSAYERS AND FORGING AHEAD

McPhee did not respond to the comments, and judging by her past reaction to those who like to point out the 34-year age gap between her and the music producer, she won't be responding.

The actress and father-of-four had a year-long engagement before their June wedding. The "Scorpion" star married her man in a custom Zac Posen gown, and before saying "I do," the "Over It" singer had her bachelorette party behind the stage of her London production of "Waitress."

There were rumors a month earlier that the two secretly got married after they got sighted leaving a Beverly Hills courthouse together.

It turned out to be false, and aside from attending the American Icon Awards together, the couple didn't step out much together in May.

McPhee has come a long way from being the girl who starred in a musical with Meghan Markle in the early 2000s. These days, she is more focused on her marriage, enjoying the summer, and kissing her man as she did during their honeymoon in Italy.
