RHONY Star Bethenny Frankel Shares Tribute to Late Boyfriend 1 Year after His Passing

August 10, 2018, proved to be a sad day in the life of “RHONY” star, Bethenny Frankel, as she lost her boyfriend.

A year after, she commemorated the day of his passing as she posted an emotional tribute to her late lover on her Instagram page.

Bethenny Frankel, who lost her boyfriend, Dennis Shields last year posted a glowing tribute to him one year after his passing to extol his virtues.

BETHENNY’S SPECIAL TRIBUTARY POST

Bethenny who also stars in “Skating with the Stars,” posted a picture of Dennis, surrounded by her pups, Biggie and Smallz. In the caption that followed, the 48-year-old paid a special tribute to Dennis.

She began by stating how her world crumbled and turned upside down in an instant, when she woke up with her dogs on a usual summer morning, to the news of Dennis’s unexpected death.

She then narrated how he had convinced her to adopt Biggie and Smallz for her daughter, Peanut, as he couldn’t imagine them (Biggie and Smallz) being separated.

She also described the naming process for the two dogs and how they came up with different names before Dennis arrived at “Biggie and Smallz.”

She went on to describe the loving relationship Dennis had with the pups, as it sometimes seemed they spoke the same language.

She ended her post by saying she was in a different emotional place than she was a year ago, and that though the wounds from his passing have begun to heal, the scars would remain in her heart forever. Her fans who commented on the post sympathized with her and sent her hugs and kisses.

DENNIS SHIELDS’ DEATH

Dennis Shields died of an apparent overdose on August 10, 2018. EMS pronounced him dead at his Trump Tower residence after he was found unconscious and unresponsive.

Following his death, Bethenny posted an Instagram photo of Dennis and her dog, Cookie, who also died in 2017. The picture showed Dennis and Cookie lying side by side on a bed. She captioned the post with the words:

“Rest on my sweet babies who gave me unconditional love. #nowandforever.”

Bethenny and Dennis have known each other for over 30 years but began dating in 2016 after her separation from ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.
