HOW DID THEY MEET

Frankel met the banker when he dated, and later married, Jill, one of her high school friends. They shared mutual friends, so they stayed in contact throughout the years and began dating in 2016, after Shields and Jill's divorce.

People revealed that a source, who is yet to be named, told them that Frankel and Shield's relationship was an odd one considering that they used to together on and off, which worked out for them.

Shield's calm and mild-mannered nature was a perfect match to Frankel's strong character, which helped her on a daily basis. He was, basically, her rock.
