Tamar Braxton Called 'Classless' after Recent Mirror Photo

Tamar Braxton got on the wrong side of fans recently after sharing a photo folks thought was indecent and “classless.” The singer/reality star also had quite the response to the backlash.

Straight off her trip to Nigeria with boyfriend David Adefeso, Tamar posted a photo on Instagram that has been rubbing fans the wrong way.

The controversial image is a mirror selfie of the “Braxton Family Values” star but what social media users had an issue with is the fact that she posed with legs apart.

FANS LASH OUT

“Classless, close your legs,” one Instagram user shot at Tamar, 42.

“But I know for a fact ur mama taught u better than this,” chimed in another while a third added: “She been acting classless for a long time now. She has embarrassed her family, her son, and probably her new man too.”

A fourth user implied that the “Love & War” singer lacked self-respect:

“You all know Tamar is an attention craver... for us that are of a certain age we see and know that this is not a good look for any lady that has self respect for herself and the all the family and friends that actually gives a damn, but this is Tamar so don’t expect anything more of her.”

TAMAR'S RESPONSE

Tamar did not respond directly to the comments but appeared to attempt diverting attention with footage of herself hanging out with David.

The couple, who made their red carpet debut in April, recently enjoyed a family trip to David’s home country of Nigeria. The reality star shared several photos and videos from the journey where they were joined by her six-year-old son Logan, her sister Towanda and Braxton matriarch Mama Evelyn.

IS TAMAR COMING BACK TO 'THE REAL'?

Away from her personal life, Tamar’s career is also getting quite the attention after Loni Love, her former co-host on the daytime talk show “The Real,” appeared to lobby for her return.

The Emmy award-winning show will be returning for its sixth season, and Loni took to Twitter with a list of people she would love to have as guests. Tamar, who was controversially fired from the show in 2016, made Loni’s list.

MENDING FENCES

This comes after Tamar publicly apologized to Loni and the other co-hosts – Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Houghton – in June.

More than once, Tamar had thrown subtle shade at the ladies, implying they had something to do with her being kicked off the show, but seemed to have a change of heart, hence the recent apology.
