Meet Amy and Matt Roloff’s Youngest Son Jacob and His Future Wife
Jacob Roloff is the youngest son of Matt and Amy Roloff. He has been away of the spotlight ever since he accused TLC of creating staged storylines for “Little People, Big World” to get more views.
Apart from that, Jacob confessed that his time on the show ruined his childhood and even led him to feel “bitterness” toward his parents. His comments didn’t sit well with the show’s fans, who quickly attacked him on social media.
Although the situation between Jacob and “LPBW” fans have settled down already, it caused people to turn their backs on his life. It is one of the reasons only a few know that the 22-year-old man will get married soon.
JACOB ROLOFF’S FUTURE WIFE
The lucky one will be Isabel Sofia Rock. In an article Isabel published on How They Asked, she revealed details of their relationship, including that they met in 2011 on the school bus.
At the time, Jacob was a freshman, and she was a sophomore in high school. Their love story didn’t start right away, though. They dated different people up until the summer Isabel graduated from high school as Jacob began spending more time with her and eventually began dating.
THE COUPLE’S LOVE STORY
In 2017, Jacob surprised Isabel with plane tickets for Iceland. Even though spending Christmas in that country was a wonderful milestone already, Jacob had another surprise prepared for her.
Unfortunately, their trip didn’t go as smooth as they would have liked as their luggage containing their warm coats and winter boots got lost. They didn’t let that little hiccup to stop them from enjoying their time in Iceland, though.
For Christmas, the couple decided they would go on separate ways to buy each other their gifts. Isabel admitted that she had “a hunch” that Jacob would propose, so she was prepared for it.
“Jacob went out to buy my gift, and while I waited at the hotel, I wrote in the card, ‘I can’t wait to spend forever with you, fiancé,’ because I just had a hunch what was about to happen. I figured if I ended up being wrong, I would just keep the card in my pocket and he’d never have to know!” Isabel admitted.
HIS ROMANTIC PROPOSAL
The couple then went to a frozen lake called Tjornin and, right in the middle of it, they exchanged their gifts. Just as Isabel expected, Jacob gave her a “tiny black box” with a “stunning turquoise ring” in it.
Although it was a beautiful piece of jewelry, it was not an engagement ring. Jacob knew it, so he spun Isabel around, kneeled, and proposed with a ring box he had hand-built out of real wood containing her “dream ring.”
Isabel later discovered that Jacob had the ring for five months. He told her that he was anxious about proposing during the entire trip but was waiting for the best moment to do it.
The couple didn’t disclose the engagement news up until January 2018 when Jacob uploaded a photo to Instagram explaining a few details of the proposal.
“So much love for this beautiful soul. Here’s to many more Christmas, you n me [sic],” the former reality show wrote in the caption.
THEIR WEDDING DATE
Months passed, and Jacob and Isabel’s fans didn’t have news on their wedding. On September 7, 2018, Isabel uploaded a post on Instagram admitting that the transition process, as well as the planning, had been tough.
However, she shocked everybody revealing a possible date for the ceremony: September 7, 2019. “Soon enough — ONE YEAR FROM TODAY — we will finally be married, and it will be the best day of our lives,” Isabel wrote in the caption.
Amy Roloff shared the last update about Isabel and Jacob's upcoming ceremony. It was a slideshow portraying the female members of their family during Isabel’s bridal shower.
Amy also confirmed the wedding date in the caption: “Lots of prayers and love for them as they go on this journey together - September 7th. She’s going to be a beautiful bride!”
The countdown to Jacob and Isabel’s wedding is on! They are very likely to upload some photos and videos about it on Instagram as they are not shy of showing how much they love each other on social media.
