Ciara Attends Amazon's Happy School Year Event & Talks about Son Future Joining Kindergarten

The singer made an appearance at Amazon's Happy school year event and dressed the part. However, it was the revelation about her son that was the highlight.

While other celebrities are vacationing this summer, singer Ciara is up and about getting school supplies for kids.

The mother-of-two made an appearance at the Amazon's Happy School Year, which took place in West Hollywood.

As usual, Ciara looked gorgeous in colorful zebra print denim jacket with matching three-quarter pants. Underneath the jacket was a white round-neck shirt which she paired with white sneakers.

Her full afro curls were styled to one side, and the "Level Up" crooner sported kid-friendly makeup. She adorned her hand with several bracelets and her finger with rings.

Ciara looked thrilled to partner with the online empire to help donate school supplies to kids in preparation for the school year.

On her Instagram page, the renowned performer shared a clip of her using Alexa to donate to the Happy School year event.

The event allows people to donate a backpack to a student in need through any Alexa-enabled device. For every backpack donated, Amazon would fill it necessary school supplies.

During the event, Ciara spoke to Extra TV and dished about her son, Future starting kindergarten this year.

She described the experience as 'surreal' and mentioned that his younger sister Sienna also has a school program going on.

She said:

"Future's first year of kindergarten happens this year, and I'm so excited," she said, adding, "It goes so fast. It's honestly somewhat surreal, but it's a really a big milestone for us."

The 33-year-old continued:

"His sister has also been doing pre-K and a toddler program at school. It's been fun not only taking him to school but her as well. It's really sweet, and I go, 'Oh, my gosh. They're really growing up.'"

The Havard Business school graduate explained that she wasn't so sad about it because school has always been something she looked forward to for her kids.
