Lil' Kim Dragged over Plastic Surgery & Outfit Choice at First MTV VMAs Red Carpet in 6 Years

Lil Kim horrified fans when she showed up at the MTV VMAs looking more facially enhanced than expected. “Lil Kim needs an intervention. She has gone too far,” one commenter suggested.

Lil’ Kim made quite an entrance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. It was her first time to attend the event in six years and though she successfully made heads turn, she also drew in a wave of backlash.

A PUFF OF PURPLE ON THE RED CARPET

Kim showed up in a little black dress covered with volumes of purple fur that cascaded from one of her bare shoulders and created a train that trailed behind her.

The daring bustier number was short enough to reveal her legs wrapped in lace extending from her black strappy heels all the way up to her knees. She completed the look with a poof of purple fur on the bun on her head and dangling silver earrings.

“Lil Kim used to be so so pretty. Now she looks like Jigsaw. So sad.”

This is the first time Kim set foot in the awards ceremony since 2013. Her attendance may be in support of her friend, Missy Elliott who was this year’s recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

A WAVE OF NEGATIVITY PERTAINING TO HER FACE

And while many took notice of Kim’s surprise appearance and her bold outfit, she didn’t escape the negative reactions, particularly about her face. The comments section of the Shade Room which featured her VMAs look saw users expressing their disappointment over her seemingly obsessive habit of going under the knife.

In a 2005 interview, Kim admitted undergoing more than one surgery to fix her broken nose though she also implied getting more than just a nose job.

“Wait I thought Lil Kim got her face fixed, did she go under the knife AGAIN!?!??,” a curious watcher inquired.

“Lil Kim needs an intervention. She has gone too far,” one commenter wrote.

“Kimberly looks bad,” wrote another.

“Lil Kim used to be so so pretty. Now she looks like Jigsaw. So sad,” said another concerned fan.

“Big Kim don’t even look human anymore,” observed another fan who added crying emojis at the end of his comment.

Others compared her to Michael Jackson and Chucky and one even suggested to have her surgeon’s license revoked.

A SLEW OF SURGERIES TO ENHANCE HER FEATURES

It’s no secret that Kim has had plastic surgery more than once. Just observe how her face evolved from the mid-2000s to what it looks like today. In a 2005 interview, Kim admitted undergoing more than one surgery to fix her broken nose though she also implied getting more than just a nose job.

She also admitted it was her vanity that pushed her to employ the services of a plastic surgeon and that it was not a case of low self-esteem.

One funny thing about Kim’s evolving face was at one point in 2018, the rapper herself thought it strange that she looked like Melania Trump in a photo.

According to medical experts who studied Kim’s transformation through the years, they suspect she’s had quite a number of enhancements including skin bleaching, a nose job, reshaping of the eyes, cheek fillers, Botox injections on her jawline, and lip fillers. Kim has never detailed how far she’s gone under the knife but many have accused her of taking it too far.
