Being married to a famous gospel artist comes with its fair share of responsibility. No wonder Israel Houghton's wife has fallen prey to the ever-watchful eyes of the public.

In her recent YouTube post, the singer's wife shared intricacies of her childhood, and how the Christian religion influenced her choices even as she advanced in age. Adrienne expressed her total surrender to God, who she categorized as "love" and "real."

Adrienne revealed that establishing a connection with Christ is on her priority list, as it was ingrained in her as a child. Raised in a conservative Pentecostal family, Israel's wife is all about bonding with the idea of love, and of showing kindness to those around.

Ultimately what matters most to the ex "Cheetah Girls" star, was and is still pleasing God. According to Adrienne, showing of gratitude was another way to attract favours and please God.

The video further mentioned how the Houghton couple bonded and one is by singing worship songs (Spanish hymns) which was a regular in their childhood. The idea of having similarities in the way they grew up was more than enough to steal her heart.

That was not all; in the clip, Mrs. Houghton stops at nothing to analyze the thoughts of some Christians critics who called for perfection.

Hinging on the theme of love, the "Friend Of God," crooner's beau advised the flawless Christians to at least imbibe the culture of compassion in the course of making corrections. She also appealed for prayers instead of offensive comments from Christian critics.

YouTube isn't the only medium the 35-year-old uses to air her views. Recently, in a bid to celebrate her three-year-old marriage, she shared a post of her and her man in Paris when she agreed to marry him.

The feeling was mutual as Israel replied that he was content with his decision to make her his. A discontent Instagram user was sad that the couple focused more on love rather than making babies.

Mr. Houghton politely replied the user, asking him to consider an online etiquette class to brush up on his manners and also to concentrate on finding his partner. The talk show host revealed on the show that after marriage, she embarked on a pregnancy journey, but due to her ovaries, it has not been made possible.

Adrienne's response to situations or critics shows how much of an attempt she's making to be a flawless Christian.
