Kevin Hart’s wife, Eniko, has spoken out for the first time since her husband’s horrific car crash, providing an update on his present condition at the hospital.

"He's great. He's going to be just fine," she told photographers, adding that Kevin, 40, is awake.
Eniko appeared to have been returning from a Starbucks coffee run and looked exhausted as she walked into the hospital to be with her husband.
EMERGENCY SURGERY
The “Jumanji” star underwent back surgery on Sunday night after sustaining major back injuries in a car crash earlier that day, per The Blast.
Sources told the outlet that "The surgery was a complete success. The doctors completed a procedure to stabilize [Kevin’s] back." "The surgery went smoothly, and he is doing ok," they added.
The insiders made sure to clarify, however, that Kevin sustained no spinal cord injury and was able to "walk and move his extremities." Another source told TMZ that the comic would remain in the hospital for a couple of days while he recovers.

THE CRASH
September started on a not-so-good note for Kevin and two pals who were riding along Malibu’s Mulholland Highway in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on Sunday morning. Kevin’s car, which was driven by pal Jared Black, veered off the road and ended up in a ditch about 10 feet off the highway.

IMPACT OF THE CRASH
The car’s roof was entirely crushed by the impact, causing Jared and his fiancée, who also happens to be Eniko’s trainer Rebecca Broxterman to be trapped underneath. The fire department had to saw off the roof to free them.
Kevin and Jared were said to have suffered "major back injuries." The “Night School” star was the first to get out of the crashed vehicle and initially went to his nearby residence "to get medical attention." According to a California Highway Patrol press release, however, both Kevin and Jared were eventually taken to nearby hospitals.
Per TMZ, Jared had to be airlifted to UCLA Medical Center, where he is surrounded by family members as he recovers. Rebecca, on the other hand, was pulled from the wreckage without major injuries.
Photos from the crash site show Kevin’s classic ride badly wrecked with the top and hood completely ripped off and a smashed windscreen. The trunk and side doors also suffered major dents.
Kevin had purchased the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda back in July as a 40th birthday gift to himself. Here’s wishing everyone involved in the crash a speedy recovery.
