'Work' Singer Rihanna Sparks Pregnancy Rumors after Diamond Ball Performance Clip in a Black Dress

The weekend tweets buzzed over Rihanna's alleged pregnancy after appearing with a belly bump and an interview that seemed to suggest she was. A source revealed the truth.

A recent appearance of Rihanna is causing pregnancy rumors to float. Apart from a bump that many took notice of, she said in an interview that she was “going to give birth to a Black woman.”

Rihanna stunned in a predominantly black outfit at the 5th Annual Diamond Ball for the benefit of her Clara Lionel Foundation.

The tight-fitting Givenchy dress hugged her figure and showcased her curves for all to see. But one particular curve caught fans’ attention, a slight bump in her midsection that has now caused a stir.

According to rumor mongers, the singer is, possibly, with child judging from the bulge that revealed itself while performing for the audience.

There were pregnancy rumors in 2018 but the world's wealthiest female musician simply laughed it off as a “fat day.”

And while that was enough to get the rumor mill going, her interview ahead of the event added more fuel.

Speaking to Essence, the 31-year-old entrepreneur dished about being a Black woman and what that meant, suggesting she may also be carrying a child.

“I’m a black woman. I came from a black woman, who came from a black woman, who came from a black woman and I’m going to give birth to a black woman,” she said and added,

“My mother is an incredible example of how to fight through obstacles in life. I’m sure her mom taught her that and that’s how I’m going to be. We are impeccable, we’re special, we’re special and the world is going to have to deal with that.”

However, a source for TMZ revealed these rumors will remain as such because the singer is not pregnant.

In June, Rihanna expressed her intentions to become a mother someday telling her “Ocean’s 8” co-star, Sarah Paulson in a feature on Interview Magazine that she wanted to be a mom “more than anything in life.”

She's currently in a relationship with Saudi Arabian billionaire Hassan Jameel so it wouldn’t come as a shock if she was pregnant after dating for two years.

There were pregnancy rumors in 2018 but the world's wealthiest female musician simply laughed it off as a “fat day.”

This time around, we’re certain that the rumors will stay as rumors unless the singer herself confirms it.

What we also know for sure is she’ll be an excellent mother when the time comes.
