Ivanka Trump Recycles Mom Ivana’s Sequined Bob Mackie Dress 28 Years Later & Fans Weigh In

Twitter users recently reacted to Ivanka Trump's recent photos attending a wedding in Rome, which showed her wearing the same shining white and gold dress her mom, Ivana, wore 28 years ago: "Who wore it better?"

Ivanka Trump looked absolutely stunning in a white and gold sequined dress by Bob Mackie, which her mother wore 28 years ago.

The recycled clothing was first seen in 1991 and again hit the headlines as Trump wore it to Nonoo and oil heir, Mikey Hess' Italian wedding weekend.

The first daughter and her husband, Jared Kushner, rubbed elbows with the likewise international stars, Katy Perry and Orlando bloom, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner.

Trump's recycled dress circulated social media and attracted mix comments from Twitter, including some who compared her and her mother's photos side by side and asked around, "who wore it better?"

Ivanka also flaunted other designer dresses during the celebration, which she has since posted on her Instagram.

In one event, the first daughter wore a Galia Lahav peach floor-length gown that had a matching cape tied at the neck.

Ivanka is Ivana's daughter with President Donald Trump. Earlier this year, she celebrated her 70th birthday whereas her daughter took to Instagram to honor her "source of joy" -- her mother.

Ivana, a former Czech model turned businesswoman had a stunning transformation from her younger years to being an adult.

The former model didn't reach her standing by traditional means and instead climbed to the top the more complicated way.

Her resilience and determination kept her going and paved the way for her to live the life she has today. Despite her lost luck in love, Ivanka has proven herself a strong and independent woman.

She started with humble beginnings in Czechoslovakia before leaving the Soviet country as a competitive athlete -- a disguise to escape for freedom.

Being a member of the junior national ski team, Ivana was allowed to travel to compete.

"Ivana didn't want to stay here," her mother told Newsweek. "She was always ambitious, and her father treated her like a boy."

The former wife of the president then moved to Canada where she became a ski instructor and continued her modeling career, that already began back home.

In 1976, she met Donald Trump at a New York fashion show, and the rest was history between them.
