A PUBLIC ACCUSATION OF THEFT
An angry Lizzo posted Tiffany W.'s photo on Twitter after the woman failed to make a delivery of seafood the rapper was expecting.
"This girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don't fight no more," Lizzo captioned a screenshot of Tiffany W.'s profile.
Now Tiffany is afraid one of Lizzo's fans might recognize her, and exact some form of vengeance for the supposed "crime" against their idol.
Despite her heartfelt apology, it might take Lizzo a while to live it all down
WHAT REALLY HAPPENED
Lizzo's accusation of theft was unfounded. She had ordered the food delivered to a Boston hotel but neglected to give a room number. Tiffany spoke to the concierge but failed to make contact with the customer. She waited 10 minutes, then left.
POSTMATES APOLOGIZES BUT EXPLAINS POLICY
A Postmates spokesperson issued a statement explaining that Tiffany W. had followed company policy, which obliges the delivery person to wait 5 minutes for the customer, before leaving.
"As soon as Lizzo reached out, we looked into the matter and quickly resolved the issue. We apologize to Lizzo for any inconvenience."

LIZZO APOLOGIZES TO TIFFANY W.
Lizzo took down the accusing post with Tiffany's photo and posted a humble apology on Twitter.
"I apologize for putting that girl on blast. I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could’ve put her in danger. Imma really be more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door," she wrote.
It takes a big woman to admit she's wrong, and a bigger one to apologize publicly. Hopefully, it will all blow over, and Tiffany can stop worrying about enraged fans on the rampage.
