Rapper Snoop Dogg Shares Message about Trusting in God after Grandson Kai Love Dies at 10 Days Old

Snoop Dogg shares a message about trusting in God on his social media account following the announcement of his newborn grandson's heartbreaking death.

Snoop Dogg's grandson, Kai Love, who was the third child of Corde Broadus, passed away at just 10 days old. It was Corde himself who broke the tragic news on Instagram on Wednesday, September 25, just ten days after he was born.

Trusting God's Plan

In light of the heartbreaking situation that his family currently faces, the 47-year-old rapper shared a video that asks people to trust in God. It read:

"If you're facing something you don't understand: choose to trust God. Remember all He has done for you. Hi ways are higher than ours. He is always good."

Kai's Meaningful Visit

Although Kai was only with the rest of his family for ten days, Corde says that their young angel already brought in so much love and positivity to the world. In fact, while Kai's death was heartbreaking, the family has been trying to take it in the most positive way they can.

On Instagram, Corde shared a video of his 13-month-old daughter Elleven Love giving her brother a kiss in the hospital, while holding a sign that reads his name and death date that reads "Love + Light" with a smiley face.

"My son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world. His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us."

On Cherishing Life and Love

Corde did not go on to reveal that cause of Kai Love's death, but instead, urged everyone to cherish life as it is precious.

"Let's all cherish life and those we love while we are here. Thank you."

Snoop has always made sure to count his blessings, and he is reminding himself of God's greatness now that he and his family are having such a hard time accepting the loss of his 10-day old grandson.

Celebrating Grandparents' Day

Previously, Snoop and his wife Shante celebrated Grandparents Day with their sons, Corde and Cordell, carrying his two granddaughters.

"My 2 sons and my 2 granddaughters god is good."

Snoop's Love for His Grandkids

Snoop has always been vocal about how happy he is now that he has grandchildren. In fact, during an interview he had when he only had one grandson, he confessed what type of grandfather he'd be.

"A gullible, get-away-with-everything kind of grandpa. It's just a spark of joy to look in his [Zion's] eyes and to be able to hold him. I thank my oldest son for making me a grandfather."

With so much love in his heart for his grandchildren, losing one is most definitely heartbreaking for Snoop and the rest of the Broadus family.
