CHIGVINSTEV WILL NOT BE IN THE NEW SEASON OF DWTS
Artem Chigvinstev, the DWTS professional, will not be returning to the show in the coming season. He mentioned his departure on "Entertainment Tonight," and talked about his experience on the show.
"You get a phone call," said Chigvinstev about how they got the updates. He said that they usually get a phone call saying "Congratulations, you're in the next season," or "Unfortunately, we couldn't pair you up with anybody."
Chigvinstev got the latter message but is hopeful that the show is successful and added that he might come back on the show if they want him back.
THE JUDGES' SAVE IN DWTS
The show transitioned to the reality dance competition, and Knight asked about the elimination change in the dance competition. Chigvinstev said, "We'll see how it goes," on the show. He added:
"When I did "Strictly Come Dancing" in the U.K. for four years, that's how they do it. I feel like I'm a little bit biased on this one. Because I love the people to be involved ... but I also feel that the judges are the experts, so having that option is good, too. We'll see how it goes."
The show changed the elimination rules recently and made it so the judges can save one contestant from the bottom two vote winners. The Supremes singer, Mary Wilson, was the first dancer eliminated under the new rule.
CHIGVINTSEV IN THE HOT SEAT
The interview began with the dating question. Kight inquired if the couple has been dating for more than a year now. The couple revealed that this December would mark their first year together.
Chigvintsev was already blushing at this point, and Knight saw the perfect opportunity to poke fun at the dancer. "Look... the way he looks at you," she pointed to Chigvintsev. "Get yourself a man that looks at you the way Artem looks at Nikki," she said to the viewers at home.
The couple talked some more about the relationship like living together and the conversation of marriage. Bella mentioned how Chigvintsev made her feel in a podcast with her sister, Brie Bella and said, "He just makes me laugh and it's just easy to be around him and he makes me feel stress-free."
Things are looking good for the duo almost six months into their relationship. The posts and stories on their social media often show the couple in a romantic embrace.
