Nick Jonas Is the New 'Voice' Coach in Upcoming Season 18
Fans and contestants of the reality television show, "The Voice," are super excited with the announcement that Nick Jonas would be a coach in the show's new eighteenth season.
NBC's "The Voice" is set to welcome one of the "Jonas Brothers," Nick Jonas, to its team of coaches for the upcoming season. Nick Jonas was on hand, alongside his brothers, Kevin, and Joe, to discuss this on Ellen DeGeneres's show, "Ellen."

NICK AS A "THE VOICE" COACH
Following the departure of singer Adam Levine from "The Voice," there was a vacant coaching position left to fill. That role was temporarily filled by Season 12's coach, Gwen Stefani, in the fall, but now the show's organizers have moved to add Nick Jonas as one of its panelists.
The singer was live on Ellen DeGeneres's show to talk about his new role. Ellen revealed the announcement by posting videos of all the current coaches on the show, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend, after which Nick expressed his excitement to be a member of the family.
He said:
"I am so excited to be part of "The Voice Family. It's such an awesome group of individuals, and I can't wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices."
EXPECT THE COACHES TO BATTLE IN THE NEW SEASON
Nick Jonas's new colleagues welcomed him into the show through the videos Ellen posted, but there may be a raging battle among them when the show begins.
The other coaches seem to have a case against Blake Shelton, as seen with John Legend and Kelly Clarkson's plea to Nick to form an alliance with them against Blake.

While no one is sure if the alliance would hold, Nick Jonas may have reasons to ponder it, following Blake Shelton's words to him in his video post.
Blake joked that "The Voice" was his show and that he wasn't sure the new coach was old enough for the show. He then promised that Nick would have a tough ride in the show. He joked:
"I'm certain that you're gonna get your butt kicked, buddy."
Let the show begin already!
