Jill Duggar Dillard of 'Counting On' Glows with Joy as She Holds Newborn Family Member Daxton Ryan

Jill Duggar Dillard posted photos with her cousin Amy's newborn baby, Daxton Ryan: "Welcome to the world Daxton Ryan King!!"

It's only been days, yet baby Daxton Ryan has been receiving warm welcomes from his family, including his mom's cousin, Jill Duggar Dillard.

The "Counting On" star dropped by the hospital to visit her cousin, Amy Duggar King, and her newborn son for "baby snuggles."

DUGGAR SHARES PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Duggar posted photos from her visit on Instagram, with one of herself holding baby Daxton and another of a clear and close-up image of the baby's face. She captioned the post:

"Welcome to the world Daxton Ryan King!! @amyrachelleking @kingdillpickle So excited for y'all! Thanks for letting me pop in earlier and snatch some baby snuggles!"

King also posted a photo on her Instagram, showing her little family in the hospital as she and her husband, Dillon, welcome their first child.

Her cousin, Anna Duggar, was among the many who commented on the picture and extended her congratulations, adding that they are "such a beautiful family!"

After her exit from the family series in 2014, TLC came up with a special just for her entitled, "A Duggar Leaves Home," which showcased King's journey pursuing a music career.

THE KING'S WELCOME BABY DAXTON

King delivered her son Daxton on Wednesday, October 9 via C-section. He entered the world healthy, weighing seven lbs., eight oz., and 20 inches.

The couple's photographer, Loren Bullard, told PEOPLE of the "smooth and easy" delivery King had that allowed "both mom and baby" to be "great and healthy."

During King's announcement of her pregnancy and the baby's gender, she said that she was excited about what was to come as being a mother to a baby boy was her dream. She said:

"We just can't wait for this little ball of energy to arrive. He's already named, so let all the embroidery begin. I am so obsessed with baby bathrobes!"

LIFE BEFORE DAXTOR AND AFTER THE SHOW

King used to be part of the show "19 Kids and Counting" as her mom, Deanna, was Jim Bob's sister. However, unlike her cousins, she didn't have to follow the strict family rules.

After her exit from the family series in 2014, TLC came up with a special just for her entitled, "A Duggar Leaves Home," which showcased King's journey pursuing a music career.

The following year, she married Dillon King, who appeared with her in 2017's series, "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," that revealed their struggles as a couple. She then shared:

"For me, whenever we would, we still argue of course. Whenever we argue, I would freak out. He'd be like, 'Babe, this is life. This is normal. I'm here, and I'm not leaving.' And he gave reassurance."
