Drake Celebrates Son Adonis’ Second Birthday with Rare Glimpse into His Private Life

Rapper Drake has a son, Adonis, with artist and former adult film star Sophie Brussaux. He recently took to social media to share a glimpse of the little boy's second birthday.

When rumors broke out that rapper Drake was becoming a father, fans were skeptical at first. However, the star confirmed the long-rumored news in his double album "Scorpion."

In the album, he also revealed that the mother of his child was Sophie Brussaux. After the birth of his son, the singer has proved he is definitely a doting father.

On Friday, the musician took to the social media site, Instagram to share a sneak peek of Adonis’ birthday party. In the post, he showed off some of the decorations from the part.

The glimpse was a rare insight into the rapper's ultra-private relationship with his son. The post indicated that he threw the little boy a pretty lavish party.

“Happy Birthday King,” Drake captioned the photo.

In the photo, fans spotted a Cookie Monster floral arrangement next to a gold balloon arch complete with the little boy's name. The picture appears to be taken inside Drake's home.

Fans flooded the post with birthday wishes for the little boy and nearly two million people liked the post. Drake notoriously keeps his son out of the spotlight.

He rarely shares pictures about his 2-year-old son but occasionally posts pics of the little boy's artwork. He also maintains a great relationship with his baby mama and even invited her as a guest at one of his concerts.

He also used the European leg of his "Assassination Vacation Tour" as a chance to bond with his son. The little boy accompanied his father on tour.

Normally, Adonis lives with his mother in Paris. Thus the rapper has very few opportunities to bond with his little boy.

“I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who … you know, we’ve had our moments.I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened,” explained Drake.
