A netizen openly critiqued Erin Andrews, the current host of "Dancing with the Stars" for wearing "green metal flake." Here's her – and her father's – reaction.

From former White House press secretary Sean Spicer continuously doing a poor job at dancing to host Erin Andrews openly bashing a fan, this year's "Dancing with the Stars" has been a rather eventful one for fans.

For the Monday episode of the famous competition series, the gorgeous sportscaster paired a black top with glimmering green pants.

While Andrews dripped of confidence as she strutted about the stage during the episode, a viewer didn't think she should have and took to Twitter to openly bash the host's outfit choice.

The critic, @marysmith77450 wrote:

"Those are the most hideous baby 'expletive' green metal flake pants I have ever seen. Your bony hips protruding out, and your bowlegged stance are not doing anything to make that ensemble any more attractive dear. Whomever let you wear that should be ashamed of themselves."

Unlike many may have expected, Andrews quickly responded to the biting remark by stressing that she hopes that the netizen's children are not put in her position, receiving such spiteful criticisms, someday.

She wrote:

"Mary..I echo what my father just tweeted you. I hope your children are NEVER subjected to such disgusting remarks. Thank goodness my parents taught me to how to be kind and spread love! Love you, Mom and Dad."

As she referenced in her short response, it was her father, Steve Andrews, who first responded to the hateful criticism writing that he sends "positive thoughts your way."

His comment reads:

"Mary, I hope your daughter is never subjected to such a classless remark. Sending positive thoughts your way."

It is perhaps his smart comment that caused his famous daughter to make a clapback of her own, and the affectionate exchange between the father-daughter duo has gained approval amongst fans.

Andrews is, however, not the only one whose pants have made headlines after an episode of DWTS aired. Earlier this month, Lamar Odom, who is one of the contestants, was openly critiqued, albeit humorously, for tugging – itching – at his pants right on the screen!
