From the Duggars to the Browns, its been back to back of captivating entertainment as viewers follow the lives of extraordinary families, bizarre to a fault on the TLC network.

WELCOME TO PLATHVILLE
In the new series titled "Welcome To Plathville" set to premiere November 5, TLC captures the lives of a rural Georgian family of eleven, the Plaths.
Raising nine kids on the farm, each home-schooled, the family has little reason to leave their safe haven, but what's worse is the shocking realization that the members of the newest star family are alien to technology!

MEET THE PLATHS
A look at the Plath dynasty and nothing seems odd, with the lovely parents, Barry and his wife Kim, going about their daily routines with a handful of charming kids to cater for, ranging between six and twenty-one.
The two eldest kids, Ethan and Hosanna, being twenty-one and twenty, respectively, are both happily married and shuffling their lives between the family farm and their marital homes.
Also in the family are four teenagers, Micah, 18, Moriah, 17, Lydia, 15, and Isaac, 13. Ten-year-old Amber, Cassia, who's only eight and their little sister, Mercy, 6, are the youngest of the TLC family's brood.

A SNEAK PEAK INTO PLATHVILLE
How the family has survived in the 21st century without the one thing that differentiates today's world from the cavemen is a wonder to many, and the network got the Plaths to open up.
"We've structured our lifestyle here so that we can retreat to our peace of heaven on earth," the family patriarch explained.
To further back her husband, and their conservative choices, the mother of nine added:
"We have limited technology, we have limited computers, they don't play video games."
IT'S GOING TO BE A TRUCKLOAD OF FIRSTS FOR THE KIDS
Technology is not the only thing the family has been restricted from. The father revealed that sodas were off-limit to them, and true to his words, in the video clip acquired by People, their twenty-one-year-old was captured having his very first coke, looking ecstatic as he confirmed it tasted really good.
As much as viewers would like to give the family a thumbs up for adapting such healthy practices, like abstaining from soda, there are also several downsides to their methods.
The kids have no knowledge of famous figures like Lebron James, Justin Bieber, or spiderman! And that could be a barrier when trying to fit into society and have a normal conversation with kids their age.
Seeing as the children all turned out fantastic, the parents sure deserve some kudos despite their questionable methods.
