Alec Baldwin's Wife Hilaria Flaunts Baby Bump in Lace Undergarments Month after Revealing 5th Pregnancy

Hilaria Baldwin posted a baby bump update on her 5th week after suffering a miscarriage earlier this year: "I made it through my first trimester!"

Alec Baldwin's wife just shared a photo of her growing belly on Instagram as she enters her second trimester carrying a child.

While in her underwear, Hilaria Baldwin stood sideways and showed her growing belly as she took a mirror picture with the caption:

"Because this baby deserves belly pics too! GUYS!!!! I made it through my first trimester!!!!"

EXPECTING WITH ALEC

The yoga instructor is expecting her fifth child with Alec, who will join their kids Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, and Romeo. Alec also had a 23-year-old daughter, Ireland.

Baldwin announced her pregnancy last month through Instagram, where she also asked the paparazzi to give her space and not chase after her for photos.

Despite her only girl, Carmen, already having an older sister, she still believes that having a little girl is something special.

She said:

"She does have a sister -- she has Ireland, and Ireland is so wonderful and they have a great relationship, but there's something about a little sister that she really wants."

Baldwin also encouraged other women to open up about their stories, including struggles, as they are nothing to be ashamed of.

The Baldwin's revealed the gender of their baby earlier last week with the rest of their kids. In a video, Carmen is instructed to unwrap the doll, who surprises her to be wearing a pink outfit. The toddler yelled:

"It's a girl!"

A LIBERATING EXPERIENCE

After having four kids, Baldwin feels liberating about her pregnancy, which she first kept a secret after suffering a miscarriage. She told PEOPLE:

"The one thing that's been liberating is I told people my first trimester. It was so stressful for me to have to keep it a secret on top of everything when you don't feel well, and it's like everyone is telling you to not say anything."

She added that she was not ashamed of suffering a miscarriage then, nor will she be if it happens again; thus, her decision to go public about her pregnancy.

SUFFERING A MISCARRIAGE

Early in April, the health enthusiast suffered a miscarriage after the unborn child showed no sights of a heartbeat after an ultrasound.

The mother-of-four revealed her heartbreaking story on Instagram not long after it happened. Despite the despair she endured, she still looked at the better side of things. She wrote:

"There was no heartbeat today at my scan… so it's over. But I have some pretty strong amazing heartbeats right here. I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate."

Baldwin also encouraged other women to open up about their stories, including struggles, as they are nothing to be ashamed of.
