Tarek El Moussa of 'Flip or Flop' Says He & Girlfriend Heather Rae Young Have Discussed Getting Engaged

Tarek El Moussa revealed in a recent interview that he and girlfriend, Heather Rae Young, have considered their future together, with a proposal a definite possibility.

It's been almost two years since Tarek El Moussa divorced his ex-wife, Christina Anstead, and it seems the "Flip or Flop" star is already envisioning saying, "I do," for the second time. This time, he plans to take the plunge with his girlfriend, Heather Rae Young.

El Moussa made his plans for future known to Us Weekly while attending the November Charity Campaign for the first responders' kickoff event in Los Angeles, California. He told the news outlet,

"We've 'Definitely' talked about a proposal, but we're kinda rolling with things right now."

Part of the latter includes going on an eight-day trip to Europe, which features spending four days each in Paris and Amsterdam, respectively. El Moussa also opened up about gifting a white Ferrari to Young for her 31st birthday in September.

The first time he asked Young out, she turned him down

The HGTV star recalled that on his first date with the "Selling Sunset" star, she stated that every girl's dream car is a white Ferrari, so he thought it would make the perfect birthday gift. The dad-of-two appears to dote on the woman he started dating in July.

El Moussa revealed in September that the first time he asked Young out, she turned him down because she was in a relationship. The two later ran into each other again through mutual friends, and the TV personality said yes when the reality star asked her out again.

Her place as the woman in El Moussa's life is assured

The rest became history, and fast forward to a few months after the couple started dating, and El Moussa sets up a surprise meeting for his girlfriend and his ex.

He recalled how it happened on "Good Morning America," stating that the two women had no time to prepare. Thankfully, it worked out as Young and Anstead got along, and even share a love for healthy living.

The "Tarek Flip Side" host has also introduced his lady love to his children — daughter, Taylor, and son, Brayden — with his ex. In a recent Instagram post, he wrote,

"… Heather is just amazing with Tay, and they adore each other."

Young may not have a ring on her finger yet, but her place as the woman in El Moussa's life is assured, and his children loving her, makes the possibility of a proposal very definite.
