Tarek El Moussa's Girlfriend Heather Rae Young Bakes Chocolate Chip Cookies with His Kids

It has been years since Tarek El Moussa's divorce from his fellow "Flip or Flop" host, Christina Anstead.

However, he still revels in being a family man as he shares a video of their children enjoying quality time with his new girlfriend, Heather Rae Young.

The real estate investor posted a short video on his official Instagram page, @therealtarekelmoussa, on Monday, October 14. The video runs for a short time but still gives viewers a peek inside Tarek's blossoming life as a family man.

It features Heather baking chocolate chip cookies with Tarek's children, which the star still can't get over. Heather, who is also a reality star, can be seen pouring ingredients into a bowl and doing a keen inspection while the youngsters, Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, turned the dough.

The sweet exchange is one 38-year-old Tarek loved watching, and the excitement rings clear as he spoke behind the moving camera. El Moussa can be heard saying,

"We've got all the girls, we've got the cookies. We've got remote control cars. We've got grandma number three here."

The HGTV star won sweet smiles from the working group, including 32-year-old Heather, and further added that although he was sick, everyone was "having fun."

As if his joy wasn't already evident in the video, Tarek penned down a lengthy heartfelt message for his fans in the caption. He wrote,

"So this one was just too cute not to post and share. I've been on the road quite a bit lately, and as I write this, I'm laying in bed in Houston, Texas sick as a dog missing my babies!!"

He went on to give details about how he and the children had the "BEST" day together and disclosed that they all "adore" Heather very much. He wrote alongside a heart emoji,

"@heatherraeyoung has been nothing but amazing with them, and we all adore her so much :)."

The father of two then concluded the message, sharing that he is making a stop in Texas to scout properties.

If nothing else, the post shows just how much Tarek treasures his little family, although he's long separated from Christina Anstead, the mother of his two children. It appears to be the same for Anstead, who is happily married to TV presenter, Ant Anstead.

The ex-lovers, thus, still lovingly co-parent their children. When it comes to Christina's interaction with Heather, however, little is known, but Tarek once disclosed that the women didn't have the ideal meetup.

Tarek said in an interview with Michael Strahan, Sara Haines, and Keke Palmer,

"I was like, 'Oh, I'm coming over to see the kids. By the way, my girlfriend is coming. See you in five!'"

Surprisingly, not even Heather was aware! But in the end, everything went well, and the two women bonded over a shared interest in health.

It is indeed no wonder that Tarek and Heather Rae Young seem to be "very happy" with how fast their relationship is progressing.
