Niecy is happy she and her mom survived and did not intend to keep her story to herself.
Although 15-year-old Niecy explained that she witnessed the scenario by hiding under the bed, she also stated that she heard the shooter murmur a few words of guilt and remorse to God.
That was not all that went down on that horrible day, the culprit intended to set the house ablaze, but thankfully, Niecy and Margaret were able to get out.
The delectable Hollywood star described the unforgettable incidence as the scariest day of her life. According to her:
"I was under that bed, and I was shaking, I have never been that scared in my life, admit started to get dark."
NIECY WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW HER STORY
Even though it was a tragedy for the actress, she has never felt shy about sharing her personal experience.

With "STAND For Families Free Of Violence," she revealed that she'd continue to spread the word of her testimony as she is grateful for survival.
She also mentioned that every hurt any individual goes through should be talked about, especially if it will educate people.
NIECY NASH LOVE LIFE
Hurt isn't the only emotion that Niecy has felt. The "When They See Us" star has felt the opposite, which is love, and has, in fact been married twice.
Her first marriage was to Don Nash, and the duo shared three children. After their divorce in 2007, love came knocking again with Jay Tucker.
In 2011, the pair said their "I dos," and even though the actress admitted that Jay was the perfect match and was built just for her, the duo enjoyed about eight years of marital bliss.
Their divorce was declared public via a post on Niecy's page, and the two of them seemed cordial. They went on to appreciate their families and close friends who have been involved in their marriage.
The 49-year-old may have dealt with an unforgettable experience, but it didn't slow her down in finding love or being an advocate of non-violence in relationships.
