Jay-Z went all out for this year's Shawn Carter Foundation Gala, sending out Rolex watches as VIP passes to select guests. So far, Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz were one of the lucky ones to receive exquisite watches, but the list could be a lot longer than just two people.

With the Shawn Carter Foundation Gala coming soon, Jay-Z decided to ditch the traditional printed invitation and went for something way more expensive.

For those whom he deemed worthy, he gifted them with luxurious Rolex Daytona watches, along with a bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne, a brand that the billionaire owns through Ace of Spades.

The First to Share Their Invitations

Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz were the first to show off their new arm candy on Instagram, with the rappers in disbelief at how rich Jay-Z actually is to be giving out such expensive invitations.

On Instagram stories, Meek Mill expressed how surprised he is to receive the Rolex, sharing that he's not kidding when he says "this rich [expletive] is getting out of control."

Jay-Z is On Another Level

Swizz made sure to show off his own watch as well, saying that Hov is officially on another level with the way he's inviting people to his gala.

"Levels. Hov is on another level with the invite game. It came with a daytona rolex and a bottle of ace."

More on the Shawn Carter Foundation Gala

Each Rolex watch costs a whopping $40,000, and it wasn't just Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz who received them. For those whom he deemed worthy, he gifted them with luxurious Rolex Daytona watches, along with a bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne, a brand that the billionaire owns through Ace of Spades.

Jay-Z's event, the Shawn Carter Foundation Gala, is set to be on November 15 and 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It'll feature a blackjack tournament, Alicia Keys, Meek Mill, and Rihanna concerts, and a black-tie gala, where hundreds of Hollywood's brightest stars are expected to attend.

Jay-Z's Philanthropic Works

Proceeds from the event will go to Jay-Z's foundation and the work they do in providing scholarships, among many others.

2019 has been a huge year for Jay-Z, investment-wise, as he also took an NFL partnership deal in August to take action against police brutality.

Jay-Z's Partnership with the NFL

While his decision to partner with the NFL was at first plagued with criticism for supporting a league that blacklisted a player for protesting against police violence against the black community, Jay-Z said that's precisely why he joined in.

However, Jay-Z made it clear that his partnership with the NFL is more than just for one man.

A Movement for Millions

While people slammed his partnership as a ploy to "clean up" the NFL's reputation after blacklisting Colin Kaepernick, Jay-Z says he'd rather reach millions of people than just one.

"I'm not his boss. I can't just bring him into something. That's for him to say [...] We all do different things. We all work differently for the same results. I don't knock what he's doing, and hopefully he doesn't knock what I'm doing."

Up until today, people are waiting to see what this partnership will bring about, and whether or not it'll help raise awareness on police brutality once and for all.
