The post showed the front covers of an edition of People’s magazine dated November 25, 2019, with the 48-year-old taking the entire front spread, where John Legend should have been from the original release.

Written boldly over the rapper’s photo were the words, “Sexiest Man Alive,” a title bagged by the “All Of Me” singer. The magazine featured another hot topic, shown on the doctored front covers as, “Snoop Dogg: How A Crip Took Your Chick.”

The picture showed the rapper, with a wrap of weed in his mouth, which contrasted the corporate appearance in a navy blue suit, plain white shirt, a classy wristwatch, and a wedding ring.

However, in place of Legend’s untied black bowtie was a blueprinted strap, representing the rapper’s roots.

ACCOLADES TO THE NEW LEGEND

The star also sent out a word of gratitude to his 37 million followers via the caption on the post, which amassed over four hundred thousand likes and seven thousand comments. He wrote:

“Thank. You.”

One fan pointed out that although the front cover was doctored, the rap legend indeed deserved the People’s title. She wrote:

“My mom loves Snoop, and when I showed her this, she wanted the magazine right away. I had to break it to her that it was fake, but she said that maybe so, but the headline was true.”

Other comments made a play on the “How a crip took your chick” headline, with several hilarious remarks.

PEOPLE’S SEXIEST MAN

Earlier this month, John Legend received the People’s sexiest man alive award, which left him with a mixed feeling of fear and excitement.

The singer revealed his fears to the press saying:

“Everyone’s going to be picking me apart to see if I’m sexy enough to hold this title. I’m also following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!”

Despite his fears, though, the 40-year old’s wife, Chrissy Teigan, was overwhelmed with a feeling of accomplishment to have “boned” the sexiest man alive, a dream come true!
