Wendy Williams Questions Why Kanye West Lets Daughter North Have Nose Ring but Not Wear Makeup
"So where are we going with this?" Wendy Williams asks, referring to her confusion over Kanye West allowing his daughter to wear a nose ring but not make-up.
Wendy Williams has questions regarding Kanye West’s rules regarding his daughter, North West. The talk show host is confused because the rapper banned his seven-year-old from wearing makeup but appears to allow her to wear a nose ring.

Wendy expressed her confusion during a recent episode of her show. The 55-year-old who rarely holds back her opinions let it known that Kanye got her scratching her head.
Wendy is aware of Kanye’s recent rule against North wearing makeup, a restriction his wife, Kim Kardashian wasn’t fully supportive of. However, Kim eventually agreed. She told E!News, “It’s a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now but it is what’s best.”

And while that rule didn’t get a reaction from Wendy at the time, North’s latest facial accessory did.
The eldest of the Kardashian-West brood was sporting a nose ring when she joined her parents this weekend at Joel Osteen’s church service in Houston, Texas. But that wasn’t the first time she fashioned the accessory.
Back in July, she also wore one at her grandmother, MJ Campbell’s 85th birthday celebration. Kim was quick to clarify with fans that the ring was fake which suggests the recent one North was wearing was fake too.
However, fake or not, Wendy seems to believe a nose ring carries the same or maybe more weight than makeup so she’s questioning why North was allowed to wear a nose ring and not makeup.
“He doesn’t want his daughter wearing makeup, but she can wear a full-on nose ring?” the talk show host asked her audience. “So, where are we going with this?” she added.
Apart from makeup, Kanye also banned North from wearing crop tops. "I don’t think North should wear crop tops just because I had her wearing a slip dress when she was 2 years old," he declared during an interview with Beat 1.
He attributes his change of perspective to his newfound faith telling the outlet, “I think and feel differently now, now that I’m Christian, now that I’m founder of a three-billion-dollar organization and married for five years.”
It may be a while for North to wear makeup and crop tops but at least she can wear as many nose rings as she wants for the time being. That's if Kanye doesn't change his mind after Wendy's recent questions.
