Sharon Vonne Stone is an award-winning actress, producer, and former fashion model. Besides that, she is also a mother of three boys.
The actress has bagged a prestigious Golden Globe Award and has been nominated for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She modeled in television commercials and print advertisements.
She then went on to debut as an extra in Woody Allen's comedy-drama "Stardust Memories." With a booming career, there is only one thing the stunning actress will not let define her.
Sharon refuses to be "defined" by a man. She told Grazia magazine:
"I was just not that girl who was told that a man would define me. I was told that if I wanted to have a man in my life, it wouldn't be an arrangement, it would be an actual partnership. And those are hard to find."
The 59-year-old actress was previously married to TV producer Michael Greenburg and newspaper executive Phil Bronstein. She is also a mother to three boys.
Here is a look at her two marriages and divorces as well as each of her sons.
Sharon was married to television producer Michael Greenburg. The pair met in 1984 on the set of "The Vegas Strip War."
Greenburg produced the made for TV movie while Sharon starred in the film. They tied the knot in the same year but the marriage was short-lived.
Three years after they married, the pair separated. In 1987, they filed for divorce however, the proceedings were lengthy.
Their divorce was only finalized in 1990. Since then, Greenburg has gone on to marry Nikki Smook in 2000.
Stone went on to marry Phil Bronstein, executive editor of The San Francisco Examiner and later San Francisco Chronicle. The pair tied the knot on February 14, 1998.
The actress and the journalist frequently made headlines during their marriage. From her brain hemorrhage in October 2001 to his emergency tendon surgery after he was bitten by a 2m Komodo dragon their marriage was filled with action.
The pair went on to adopt their son, Roan Joseph Bronstein, in 2000. However, their relationship ended in 2003 when Bronstein filed for divorce.
He cited irreconcilable differences and the pair were locked in a custody battle which eventually ended with a judge ruling that Roan should remain primarily with Bronstein and Stone would only have visitation rights. The entire ordeal was finalized in 2004.
For a while, Sharon and her ex-husband Bronstein were locked in a custody battle for her son Roan. Sharon eventually lost custody of the young boy but maintained her rights to visitation.
However, the "Mosaic" star went on to adopt two more sons, Laird, and Quinn and her perspective on motherhood has shifted. She said:
"Having three kids certainly will change your reality."
