Jennifer Lopez Talks about Upcoming Preparations for 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Shakira
Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez attended the 2019 IFP Gotham Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday. There she shared a tit-bit about the preparations for the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show.
With the game being just two months away Lopez, 50, revealed that she and Shakira were already practicing. She spoke to “Entertainment Tonight’s” Rachel Smith on the red carpet about it.
"I'm obviously going to try to put together the best show that I can."
When asked how things were going the multi-talented star said: "I don't have that much time." However, she also shared: "We're starting."

WHAT LOPEZ HOPES TO ACHIEVE
The singer also confessed that she couldn’t give away any solid information about her forthcoming performance. Lopez explained her mindset as she prepares for the show stating:
"For me, I'm obviously going to try to put together the best show that I can, but it's also about having fun. Just being up there, staying present in the moment and enjoying all of the wonderful things that are happening."
THE ACTRESSES LOOK ON THE DAY
Revealing that a lot of work would be going into the production, the actress added: "We still have to develop it a little bit more." Lopez looked incredible at the awards show.
She wore a feathery black and gold Ralph & Russo gown that accentuated her figure. Lopez completed her look with Jimmy Choo heels and a clutch bag.
BEING NAMED GQ’S ICON OF THE YEAR
Last month, the musician featured in GQ magazine for the "Men of the Year" issue. She was named the magazine's Icon of the Year and shared a bit about her biggest career moments.
LOPEZ WASN’T PAID FOR “HUSTLERS”
Speaking about her latest movie, “Hustlers” where she plays the role of stripper Ramona, Lopez revealed that she wasn’t paid “whole bunch of money.” She explained how she’d taken the role because some “things” she did out of “love.”
The actress shared how she worked for free and even produced it. The star also confessed that she had to get into a “really different mindset” to play her character’s role.
