Lauren Duggar from 'Counting On' Shares Photo of Husband Josiah Holding Baby Bella Next to a Christmas Tree

Josiah and Lauren Duggar are basking in parental bliss after welcoming their first child, Bella Milagro, on November 8, 2019. Lauren has been sharing cute pictures of the little one on Instagram ever since.

Josiah and Luren Duggar can't stop gushing about their baby girl! The couple recently shared a photo of their daughter on Instagram and she looks so adorable!

The picture sees Josiah holding Bella on his arms as he looked into her eyes. The little one seems to be mimicking her father's expression while looking back into his eyes.

THEIR SPECIAL CHILD

Bella is extra special for the couple, not just because she is their first child, but also because they welcomed them just over a year after Lauren suffered a miscarriage when she was five weeks pregnant.

After the pain of going through a miscarriage, Lauren gave birth to a healthy baby girl who weighed 6 pounds and 5 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long at the time of birth.

A DIFFICULT LABOR

The couple revealed to "US Weekly" that their baby girl was born after a long and difficult labor, but they were happy beyond words when she finally arrived.

“When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro all the pain instantly went away. We can’t believe she is ours — she is so perfect! She definitely has lived up to her name which means, ‘beautiful miracle.’ Today we are basking in God’s goodness!”

LAUREN HAD A MISCARRIAGE THE LAST TIME

The couple shared that they were expecting their first child back in May. "We cannot begin to tell you how much we are looking forward to holding this baby in our arms this fall," they told "US Weekly" at the time.

When the couple lost their first unborn child, they were devastated. According to Josiah, it was a pretty hard time for him and his wife. He and his wife also revealed that the name of the baby was "Asa."

SHE IS NOT THE ONLY NEW MOM

Lauren and Josiah are not the only Duggars to extend their brood this year. Jessa and Ben Seewald also welcomed their first daughter, Ivy, back in May.

Meanwhile, Abbie Duggar and Anna Duggar are both pregnant with girls. Another Duggar who recently became a new mother is Kendra Duggar.

Kendra and her husband, Joe Duggar welcomed their second child on November 2, 2019.
