This year has seen award-winning rap star, Kanye West, start Sunday services in Los Angeles, buy a farm in Wyoming, and experience a spiritual transformation that has him aligning with the Christian faith.

While those actions surprised his fans, they were not confusing. However, West's new silver body paint for his opera performance of "Mary" has his fans in a world of confusion.

Kanye West, for the performance, had silver all over his body and wore a nylon-looking outfit, that made him look quite unlike himself. The outfit and the paint prompted one fan to ask on Twitter if there is something wrong with the "Angels and Demons" crooner.

Another tweeted that the Chicago native should kindly get stopped by someone, alongside laughing, and crying emojis. One fan wrote alongside a photo of West drinking from a Champagne flute, and another of him walking with his phone, as he pulled his outfit along,

Another, whose Twitter handle is Paul Grey, tweeted that while he knew that the dad-of-four likes metal, his appearance went beyond everything he imagined.

The opera took place at the Miami Marine Stadium on Sunday afternoon, and the rap star also had on silver socks and slides. While West's fans might not like the look, photos from the show showed the rap star laughing while having fun.

In November, during Thanksgiving, his wife, Kim Kardashian, his children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm — alongside the Kardashians, appeared in his "Closed on Sunday" music video.

The Grammy winner was also not alone in the look; his fellow performers joined him in wearing the silver outfit and body paint. The rap star promoted the performance on his Twitter page, and the-Nicole Beecroft directed opera, featured music from the rapper turned fashion designer's Sunday service choir.

His tweet included a quote from the bible, in line with the theme of "Mary." "Mary" is the second opera West has taken part in; his debut, "Nebudchadnezzer" had a lot of positive reviews, and the rapper served as the narrator.

It had musical performances from Peter Collins, and Infinity's Song and the success was enough to make the rap star attempt it for the second time.

West is confirmed to join Joel Osteen on his annual Night of Hope on May 2nd, 2020, at the Yankee stadium, as he continues his journey of faith.

The "Yeezus" fashion owner recently released his gospel album, "Jesus is King," and has appeared in a lot of talk shows with Pastors like Adam Tyson.

The rap star has also taken his family along with him. In November, during Thanksgiving, his wife, Kim Kardashian, his children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm — alongside the Kardashians, appeared in his "Closed on Sunday" music video.

West's spirituality has taken him on a journey of self-discovery, and he has made it clear that he is no longer running away from God. The rapper's fans have been with him every step of the way, and hopefully, there'll be no more confusions henceforth.
