Like mother, Like daughter - Nicole Ari Parker proves that her child is her mini-me as they both cuddle up beside one another to read their own books. The adorable shot was taken by none other than Boris Kodjoe himself.
When your kids are all grown up, it's not often you get to sit back and enjoy things together especially with their busy schedules.
However, for Nicole Ari Parker, she was able to sneak in some alone time with her daughter as they both read in silence.
Nicole's daughter Sophie was born with Spina Bifida, a birth defect wherein the spine and spinal cord do not develop correctly.

FROM "ME TIME" TO "WE TIME"
What was supposed to be "me time" for Nicole and her daughter, turned out to be "we time" as they cuddled up together with their own books.
For Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe, their family is everything. They are one of the few Hollywood couples who are actually going strong, and that may be because of the love and dedication they have for their children.
NICOLE AND BORIS' TEENAGE CHILDREN
Together, they share Nicolas Neruda Kodjoe and Sophie Tei Naaki Lee Kodjoe, who are both growing up quite fast.
While they love both their kids dearly, it was the birth of Sophie that really molded Boris and Nicole to have the strong relationship that they have now.
SOPHIE BORN WITH SPINA BIFIDA
Nicole's daughter Sophie was born with Spina Bifida, a birth defect wherein the spine and spinal cord do not develop correctly.
Because they needed to work together to make sure their child got the best care, they didn't have the luxury to fight.
HOW SHE AND BORIS STAY STRONG
As for how she believes she and Boris remain strong almost two decades into their relationship, she says:
“I think as I mature, because we’re going on 14 years married, I know that I’m going to have to bring my own happiness to the dinner table. It’s so much better when something wonderful happened to me that day that I bring it home. Even if it’s something small or finding the tea that we both love, like I found it in a weird little market or something. I have to fill myself up and bring that into the home. I would say your own happiness, sex and talking."
With so much love and dedication towards family, Nicole, Boris, and their children are living proof that Hollywood relationships need not end in divorce.
