Christina Anstead and Ex Husband Tarek El Moussa's Families Enjoy Daughter's School Performance Together

Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa showed off their excellent co-parenting skills once again after the former shared a picture on Instagram.

Although they called it quits in 2016, Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa remain dedicated to raising their two children, Taylor and Brayden.

PEOPLE recently reported that the “Flip or Flop” stars remained followers of this fact after Christina shared an Instagram photo.

The site explained that the Anstead-El Moussa clan came together to watch Taylor perform in a Holiday concert at her school. After the show, Christina, her father, and the two kids struck a pose for the camera.

In the accompanying caption, Christina described her daughter's performance as cute before expressing her joy that her father was able to attend. She then went on to dish some co-parenting advice, writing:

"We all sit together- my family and Tarek’s family. A couple people acknowledged how nice this is- I know there are a lot of divorced couples (including Tarek’s mom and dad) who do this too and it’s honestly easier for everyone.”

The beautiful moment won’t be the first one that would be happening since Christina and Tarek split.

Back in September, Today pointed out a video that the co-parents shared when they attended Taylor’s Saturday soccer game. The duo appeared to be enjoying the sun as they reclined in their lawn chairs.

While Christina held her newborn son, Hudson London, in her arms, Tarek held 4-year-old Brayden. With their friendly relationship, which continued even after they divorced, fans have often wondered what went wrong.

According to a Nicki Swift report, the couple’s romantic fire died out for more than one reason. One of those reasons was that Christina and her ex-husband had fundamentally different tastes.

A source close to the duo revealed that while Christina had “champagne tastes,” Tarek was more of a “beer-from-a-can kind of guy.”

That lifestyle seemed to work for a while, but when the money started coming in, and Christina became more famous, Tarek quickly grew uncomfortable with his then-wife’s lifestyle.

Things didn’t get any better after Tarek tested positive for thyroid cancer in June 2013 and then testicular cancer the following month.

The reality star who has often spoken about that time in his life revealed that it caused a strain on his marriage. Eventually, the issues became too much for the couple to handle.

From the looks of things, however, the duo seems to have put all that behind them. While El Moussa started a relationship with Heather Rae Young, Christina got married to Ant Anstead in 2018.

In September 2019, Christina welcomed her first child with Ant, and according to PEOPLE, the journey hasn’t been an easy one.

Whatever struggles she has been through, fans are happy that the mother-of-three and her ex-husband maintained their relationship for the sake of their children.
