Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Is Reportedly in Support of Her Mother Dating Much Younger Men

Madonna is back on the love train with her back-up dancer Ahlamalik Williams. Seeing that he is two years older than Madonna's 23-year-old daughter Lourdes, she reportedly felt more accepting of her mother's relationship than celebs like Wendy Williams.

Tongues started wagging when a picture of Madonna and Ahlamalik in an intimate embrace hit the internet. The age gap between Ahlamalik and the iconic singer is 36 years, and is what reportedly caused Wendy Williams to call Madonna "grandma."

LOURDES'S OPINION

But Lourdes is reportedly not phased by the new development at all. A source that spoke with HollywoodLife said that the 23-year-old is supportive of her mother's decisions regarding her love life, and added:

“Madonna’s daughter is totally used to her dating younger men, it’s not an issue for her and it’s just something she accepts as ‘normal’ for her mom. Madonna has Lourdes’s full support to be with whoever she chooses. And she gives her daughter the same respect.”

SHE INTO THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Lourdes is a successful model and starred in her first Miu Miu campaign earlier this year. Mother and daughter worked together before Lourdes ventured into modeling, as they partnered back in 2010 for Madonna's clothing line, Material Girl.

According to another source that spoke with the publication, Madonna couldn't be more proud of her daughter and what she accomplished thus far.

"They are on the same page with so many things, their relationship is very strong. They both are women that know who they are and what they want and there is a respect between them,” the source reportedly said.

WHERE LOURDES FITS INTO THE FAMILY

The talented 23-year-old's father is Carlos Leon, a Cuban actor whom Madonna first met in 1994. Carlos worked as her personal trainer, and the couple welcomed Lourdes on October 14, 1996. The couple never married, and they split up after three years together.

In 2000, Guy Ritchie became her stepfather after marrying Madonna, followed by the birth of her brother Rocco Richie, and the adoption of brother David Banda Mwale Ciccone Ritchie.

Rocco's birth came four months before Guy and Madonna married, and the couple actually christened him at Dornoch Cathedral in Scotland the day before saying their vows.

The 18-year-old is currently pursuing a career as an actor and model and he enrolled at the Parson's School of Design in New York in 2017.
